FROM the EAST
Another month has gone by, how time flies when you’re having fun. In March we elected Mr. Dan Kerlin to receive the degrees of Masonry, and are looking forward to his progress once each is conferred. We have several Brothers in the degree process let’s not let them flounder in their learning process by ignoring them until they contact us. Be proactive contact and encourage them along the way.
In April and May I anticipate having the Brethren traveling both in and out of our District to visit other Lodges. On April 6th we will be visited by Brethren from The Valley of Eau Claire to present the Scottish Rite to us, and on April 20th we will be host to the Scottish Rite Feast of the Paschal Lamb ceremony, with a dinner following. Let us support our Brethren with our presence at both Meetings.
Also, I want to extend my thanks to Brother Jesse Furrer for the fine work he is doing on our calendar of events, and to Brother Jim Carlson for his work on our website and Facebook page. Until next time.

Wausau York Rite
April 14th — Ice cream and cake will be served at 6:00 p.m. followed by the joint installation of officers for Wausau Chapter # 51, Wausau Council #22, and St. Omer Commandery #19.
Scottish Rite Club
Meet at Annie’s American Café the 1st, 3rd and 5th Wednesday of the month for breakfast, 7:00 AM.
Wisconsin Valley Auxiliary
Wisconsin Valley Auxiliary will meet Friday, April 8, 2011 for a noon luncheon and meeting at the Elks Club. The program will be presented by Michael Hartkopf, Customer Service Manager at the Marathon County Public Library. He will discuss the services available to us.
