Forest Lodge had the pleasure of welcoming three new good men as Brothers into our Fraternity last month. They are each excited to be Freemasons and are already studying hard to further themselves in Masonry. WM Brian Miller of Mystic Tie #280 of Ladysmith Wisconsin won the “cheesy mustache” contest put on by the Grand Master, Don Hensiak. On March 18th at 9:30 am the Grand Master and some of his officers will be cooking a “cheesy breakfast” at the Mystic Tie Lodge as a result. It looks to be a fun event and if you would like to attend you can RSVP with Brian Miller or District Deputy Mark Steckel, a $10 donation is requested. There will also be a Master Mason Degree at Island City Lodge in Minocqua on March 11th at 9:30 am. I encourage you to attend and help make this day as special as possible for our Brother.
We will be having a Scottish Rite Appreciation night on March 15th with a Corned Beef Dinner. Prior to the dinner, we will be having a special presentation of the play “Defense of the Ruffians”. On March 29th there will be a Scottish Rite Mini Reunion held at Forest Lodge. I am a Scottish Rite Mason myself and I think very highly of the organization. I am very proud to be a member. Scottish Rite Club
Meets for breakfast at 7:00 AM 1st, 3rd and 5th Wednesdays at Perkins.
Wisconsin Valley Shriners Auxiliary
On Friday, March 10, 2016, the Wisconsin Valley Shriners Auxiliary will meet for a luncheon and meeting at The Palms. Lunch will start at 11:30 a.m. with the meeting beginning approximately at 12:30 p.m. Program presentation will be given by Kelly Atkins, Azura Memory Care
