On Wednesday, April 24th, 10 Masons and one very ambitious young man, braved the elements and dedicated nearly two hours to cleaning up the ditches and shoulders of Marathon County Highway N. As in years past, part of the fun of this laborious task is to examine the items that find their way into the ditches.
This year, as in many past years, we found car parts, beer/soda cans/bottles, cigarette packs and a few unmentionables….
Our work as Masons need not be confined to our Lodge. In fact, getting to know our brothers outside of Lodge can strengthen our bonds within.
The first three weeks of May, we have some very important Lodge work. We have a Stated Meeting, followed by two weeks of Entered Apprentice Degrees. To balance our work, on the fourth Wednesday, I encourage you, your family and friends to join us at Malarkey’s Pub for their Trivia Night. Let’s plan to meet up around 7, as we can form a team or two for the contest which starts at 7:30.

Wisconsin Valley Shrine Club meets every Friday for a noon luncheon at the Wausau Elks Club.
Wausau York Rite
May 9th — 7:00 PM. CANCELLED Stated Commandery.
May 21st — 7:00 PM. Stated Meeting, Chapter and Council.
Scottish Rite Club
Meets for breakfast at 7:00 AM 1st, 3rd and 5th Wednesdays at Perkins.
Wisconsin Valley Shrine Auxiliary
On May 10, 2013 the Wisconsin Valley Shrine Auxiliary will meet for a noon luncheon and meeting at the Elks Club. The program for May will be presented by Janet Johnson, Eau Claire, Shriners Hospital for Children-Twin Cities.
