I hope that each of you had a very blessed holiday and New Year. What a privilege it is for me to represent Forest Lodge #130, the Officers, and the Craft as your Worshipful Master. I look forward to our ensuing year together, as we work to continue our growth, and cement the bond of our Fraternity. It is an honor to lead this Lodge as so many distinguished men have done in the past 160 years. Before looking to the future, we must take a look back and thank Past Master Ryan Wojicechowski, our Worshipful Master in 2021, for a successful year in the East. Ryan did a great job last year, and I hope to continue the good work he started.
We had a successful Installation of Officers on a foggy, rainy, windy night in December. I congratulate all the new officers, and look forward to working with you as we continue the legacy of Masonry in Central Wisconsin. A “special thanks” to Jake Seever, District Deputy Grand Master for District #3, and Jesse Furrer, our Area Administrator, for their roles installing our new officers.
I have many fun events planned and look forward to implementing them. Together we will make 2022 a great year in the long and glorious history of Forest Lodge. This year cannot be successful without your support and participation. Be open to change this year, Brothers, whether it be my will or yours. My aim this year is to strengthen our brotherhood and comradery, to ignite a flame in our hearts and in the hearts of new candidates, by the same light we all seek.
At our last meeting in December, we previewed the year ahead, discussing at a high level the road we are going to travel in 2022. At our first meeting in January, we will be conferring the Entered Apprentice degree – please plan to attend this degree to welcome our new candidate to Masonry. At our second meeting, we will plan to re-obligate ourselves in the Entered Apprentice degree that many of us took so long ago.
If you haven’t attended Lodge in a while, please stop by and let us dust off your working tools. We have a friendly group of Brothers willing to interact with you in peace and harmony.
