Our culture typically sees the New Year as a time of change. We are able to take the time to reflect, to view our successes, tackle our shortcomings and count our blessings. The passing of the year allows us to place closure on a chapter of our lives as we look forward to what lies ahead.
Masons share a similar tradition. At the close of the Masonic year we elect and install officers for the ensuing year. The duties and symbolism of each office have been established for generations, but each Brother brings a unique perspective to their office which ensures that we all continue to grow in Masonry.
As important as it is to reflect on the past year and set goals for the New Year, we as Masons know that our journey isn’t tied to dates on a calendar or the officers in the chairs. We understand that every day presents us the opportunity to review the lessons we have learned in Masonry, to make adjustments to improve the quality of our lives and serve our fellow man.

Scottish Rite Club
Meets for breakfast at 7:00 AM 1st, 3rd and 5th Wednesdays at Perkins.
Wisconsin Valley Shrine Auxiliary
Our Wisconsin Valley Shrine Auxiliary will meet Friday, January 11, for a noon luncheon and meeting at the Elks Club. The program for January will be presented by Paula Clark, Executive Director of the Wausau Conservatory of Music
